We are a theater company, established in 2017, aims to provide exceptional entertainment experiences to diverse audiences by incorporating elements of cultural heritage, folk music, and social issues into their performances. We celebrate various traditions to create a diverse and inclusive environment, educate audiences on cultural preservation, and address pressing social issues such as inequality and discrimination.
Through the performances, we aim to evoke pure emotions and excitement, transporting viewers to different worlds and sparking conversations for positive change. With a commitment to artistic excellence and cultural consciousness, Makhotay strives to leave a lasting impact on individuals and communities, inspiring and uplifting audiences with high-quality entertainment.
Founder and Executive Director
SIBTE HASSAN
Lahore based award winning Actor/Director and Creative strategist served Punjab University Dramatics Club as President and founder of Arts and Culture Society of ‘Institute of Social and Cultural Studies’ ISCS. He has worked with Kofi Anan Foundation, ICESCO (OIC), AJOKA Theater, Rafi Peer Theater Workshop, Azaad Film Company, Ambience Films, Hive Pakistan, Alif Ailaan, Khudi Pakistan, YDF, Aur Tv Network and Lahore Biennale.
