Human Rights Commission Of Pakistan

“ Wajood e Zan ” This play is about those women, who are confronting patriarchal issues in the society. story full of cry, sacrifices and patience of the women. Makhotay with the cooperation and support of Human Rights Commission of Pakistan (HRCP) presented this play on Violence against Women to mark the campaign for “16 days of activism against gender based violence”

Redemption

“ Qafas ‘’ By Redemption with the collaboration
of Makhotay on world day against Death Penalty. 10th of Oct is world day against capital Punishment, observed worldwide on same day. A cause to observe the day to abolish death penalty globally from Constitution including Pakistan. We have highlighted lawlessness and injustice of our justice system. We staged the story of Aftab Bahadur, who was wrongfully executed back in 2015. This play is also covered LIVE by the twitter pages of European Union and United Nations.

Ghulam

“ Ghulam ‟ Performed at Ajoka Theater Festival, Alhamra #1, Mall road, Lahore. It was a 3-day theater festival on Partion of 1947. The theater groups from all over the Pakistan performed in this festival. ”GHULAM – It reflects our history, culture and the sentiments related to our Mother Soil. This play would bring you to the dark ages of sub continent when partition did not divide the lands but the hearts, when hearts were enslaved but still, there were few who preferred freedom at the cost of lives. We welcome all of you to witness the darkest era of 1947.
