Collaboration of Salamti foundation and Shaoor Foundation at UMT

Makhotay conducted a theatre workshop with the collaboration of Salamti foundation and Shaoor Foundation at UMT, led by Sibte Hassan and Arslan Ali, focusing on theatrical exercises to enhance body language, voice modulation, theatrical design and emotional expression. Participants applied these skills in small performances in the end, showcasing their growth and creativity. The workshop concluded with a message of spreading peace and awareness through the power of art, reaffirming its commitment to using theatre as a tool for social change.

Arts Workshop

“ Performing Arts workshop ” With the students from different universities we have organized this workshop to promote theatre, acting, writing and singing. Experienced and Professional trainers were engaged and the sessions were focused on the skills, design, patterns and history of music, performing arts, theatre and filmmaking.
We are thankful to Sarmad Aftab Jadraan, Umer Dar, Shahzaib Ahmad, Sohaib Mugheera, Zeeshan Ali and Sibte Hassan for mentoring the participants.

Pakistan First Film Walk

‟ Pakistan First Film Walk ‟ Makhotay with the collaboration of Akaasi Studios had organized a First Film walk in Lahore. A walk with cameras to give a new experience to the learning of film making. A process to observe the new techniques and depths of the camera. It was an opportunity for the beginners, videographers and film makers. The senior film makers and directors were the guest to talk and spend some constructive time with the beginners and fellows.

Sexual And Reproductive Health And Rights.

“ SRHR and Family Planning ” to enhance the capacity of youth on information and awareness of SRHR and Family Planning. Institute for  social and youth development has arranged a workshop with the members of Makhotay Theater to create safe space for youth to discuss current issues and to gauge out some solutions related to SRHR and family planning.

Drug Free Pakistan Foundation

“Drug Free Pakistan Foundation and Makhotay at University of Education‟ has provided an opportunity to the students of universityto establis dramatic, debating and music societies in their 2 campuses. we have established the societies with auditions and by polishing the artistic and creative skills of the students through workshops, seminars and mentorship. This project was consisting on 8 months and students are working and running the societies with the help of Directorate of Students Affairs, University of Education, Lahore. Zeeshan Ali and Zain Zohaib from Coke studio and Nescafé basement were the mentors for Music workshops. Sarmad Khoosat, Shahid Nadeem, Faseeh Bari khan and Shakeel Ahmad were the mentors for acting and theatre design
